Tropical Tea

It's starting to cool down where I live, so I'm actually drinking hot tea today. I found this teapot at the thrift store quite some time ago, and finally pulled it out this morning.

I loved the idea of pairing cooler weather with Fancy Tropicana tea. This Ceylon black tea conjures up images of tropical islands and cool breezes. It not only smells good, it tastes great too, because of the added cornflowers, rose and marigold petals, along with mallow flowers and thistle. I'm off to have some of this delicious tea before it becomes tepid. Come join in, if you like.

We're getting downright cold here in NY, but your post warmed me up!

Thanks for the nice comment on my paper bag album--I googled paper bag piano hinge album and it took me straight to your tutorial--I should have just looked at your tuts first :)

Well, I'm having coffee with you. It may not be tea, but it's hot. ;)

Not a fan of floral teas but I really like the little tea pot. Had a sick kid home today...a visit to urgent care...and a kettle of homemade soup completed my afternoon. Its been an eventful day...

Your tea sounds wonderful! I might have to check into it... Love the little pot. I'm trying to cull my possessions to downsize and simplify my life. Right now, I'm trying to decide which teapots of my collection to keep.
