WOYWW 119: a bag full of mess

It's quite late here, but the heat is still hanging on from earlier today. I thought we had gotten rid of the worst of the heat, but not so, it seems. At least the nights are cooler than they were during the months of July and August. But you didn't come to read about the heat (something I have been quite vocal about all summer), nor did you come to hear me apologize because I didn't join in last week due to two days filled with scheduled appointments. Hopefully you came to see that I have a Ziplock bag filled with a baby shirt I'm trying to let sit for several days. Even WOYWWendy is dismayed.

LinkWendy is pretty certain this experiment in a bag is NOT going to work, but she's willing to hide a tip-in I'm working on (it's in my basket behind her) while trying to stay out of the way of the candle holder rocking horses. For those who are new here, I have about 450 rocking horses. Some are quite tiny, others are big enough for a child or small adult to ride. I've shown many on my blog. I have a few more I can show, then I will have to come up with something new to add to my desk each week. Have a great WOYWWednesday and visit Julia at Stamping Ground to see all the links, or to join in the fun.

A baby shirt in a ziplock baggie... yes, it will be interesting to see what that turns out like!! I can cope with the warmer days if the nights give me respite... sleeping whilst hot is very difficult to do, especially when you have a large orange and white furball which acts like a hot water bottle that has to be touching you when you get into bed...

About the weather...we got here the remnants of hurricane Katia. Not a bad storm, but heavy winds. After all, she has travelled a long way!

Some passions start in childhood (reading, music, colour for me) and others start later - when did the rocking horse pash begin?? Baby shirt..ziplock bag..ROFL..can't wait :) xx

It wasn't the same without you last week you know........ and it is not just the rocking horses. I think on the whole I prefer my weather to be slightly cooler than warmer (I ditto the hot water bottle I went to bed with one last night to). But I do so love these autumnal days and nights :) and there is something magical about September to December the 24th.
I never thought to squirrel things in a ziplocker bag is it a to be recommended technique?

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for stopping by my corner of the world on Tuesday. I am finding it extra hard to find time for all my visits and fun stuff since school has been back in session the past two weeks. My admin job requires that I be on the computer all day long, and then when I get home, I am pooped and just keeping up with the daily grind is more than enough most days. The weekend is almost here. Yea for weekends! Will be interesting to see how your little shirt turns out. Our night time temps are about 100 so it is still really hot during the day. Will be so glad when things cool off. Take care and have a great rest of the week. Tammy

I'm wondering what a babyshirt is doing in a ziploc bag... I didn't know that it is still that hot in your area - bot, you must be pretty tired of it. While we here in Northern California didn't have any big heat to speak of. Quite unusual this year. It looks like we're going to have a pleasant fall, that's always my favorite time of the year anyway. And I love your candleholder rocking horses. Too cool.

What are doing to the shirt in the ziploc...now I am curious! Sorry your fair trip wasnt so successful. Next Year!!!

Just wanted to pop by to visit your blog this week and say hello and see what you are up to! Didn't have the time to post(except about newest Doswell addition) or craft the past two weeks due to being in Virginia visiting with the son's family to see the newest granddaughter born. Definitely a fun time none the less. Hope you have a great week. Vickie aka okienurse
