WOYWW 77: Is Christmas in the air?

I got reminded by Sue that tomorrow is Wednesday (it's still Tuesday here, but you all are asleep while I'm typing) and I didn't have a WOYWW post planned. I made it to just about everyone today, the last day before each of you posts your next WOYWW. If I missed anyone, it was because I couldn't leave a message or kept getting a 503 error. If you stumbled in here from Uranus or the Emerald City, find out about WOYWW at Julia's Stamping Ground. Even better, come join us!

As an aside, I'm not sure how this will effect my link this week, but I'm going to post on Tuesday night since Julia seems to post at exactly midnight my time. I can't seem to get a good spot because I have to wait for my entry to post before I can "link up."

Before I tell about what's on my desk, my beloved Bleubeard is much, much better. In fact, I'm sure he is nearly back to his normal self. I want to thank everyone for your lovely comments and concern last week. Remember to click on the photos to get the complete picture!

On my desk are some pieces for my final Project 2010 dress. I made the sheet of "fabric" out of 2" ribbon. I loved how I was able to match it so well. I used the entire roll, so I know I have to be careful when cutting the dress. And I even found some fancy ribbon that seems to match it quite well.

And look who joined me in the studio. Three little guys all ready for Christmas, along with WOYWWendy! Have a great day and, if you live in the US, have an awesome and safe Thanksgiving On Thursday.

What would Wednesday be without a blog pick from the list of WOYWWers? Today is no exception. Sue at Scoopy's Stuff makes cards. She makes lovely cards. She makes sophisticated cards. She makes cute cards. She makes an eclectic mix of cards. So needless to say, she is also a rubber stamper and a member of several design teams. Sue also participates in a lot of challenges. That's probably what makes her so popular in the blogging community. Sue lives in Gosport in the UK. So, stop by tomorrow (Wednesday) and see what Sue has on her desk or up her sleeve.

Very Christmassy fabric! You could make dresses for your little rocking horses...now that would be something to blog about.

It's such a relief that Bleubeard is on the mend. You must be so pleased. I hope your back is also better. You've been so busy and that tartan paper is quite some work. You should scan it for future projects after all that! It tones well with the little equestrian pals too.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and tell us about it next time.
I'll be looking for more of their pals whilst I'm in Germany next week!

Good news, lovely thing to read about Bleubeard as I start my grand tour. I love the idea of the ribbon making a fabric - only you - genius! Will look forward to seeing the doll - amazing to think isn't it that we've moved into the part of the year that involves 'last' and 'finals' of so many things, it went by so fast. I wonder what you'll be signing up for next year.
Have a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving!
