Oh Baby! More Signatures

It's been awhile since I showed more signatures in this book. Above is the cover, and here and here are the first set of signatures. Once again, I am showing only half the second set, so you don't get bored, and because I haven't had a chance to scan and rotate the rest of them. So today I will be showing pages 49 through 71. I will show pages 72 through 96 as soon as I get them blog ready. Feel free to click to enlarge, even though they were saved at quite low resolution.

Page 49 has ledger paper and a picture of a model from an old book from the 40s.

Do you love ATCs? Do you like layers and texture? Today the spotlight goes to a blog that has both and I can't even understand it! I translated it from French to English, but it really doesn't help much. However, you don't have to speak the language to appreciate the beautiful art on it. One thing I did understand was that the blog owner was no longer posting there, and had moved to another blog address. However, I really liked the blog I'm going to provide a link to better than the new one. After you get to Addict to ATCs, you can always click on the new link, which is in the first post on the page. Don't let the name fool you, though. There are lots of gorgeous mixed media canvases that are quite large. There are also assemblages and altered art that will make you smile. So get addicted to Addict to ATCs today.

The paper doll cover is what first caught my attention. When I looked inside and saw all your signatures, I really got excited. What a book! It seems you have samples of so many different techniques and papers. Really nice.

Very cool pages! Just curious, are you going to use the journal as a journal or keep it as is?

Awesome signatures, Elizabeth! Love the way you've used the paint chips - they're always so much fun. I'd have never thought of making a pocket out of one, though! Thanks for the inspiration!!! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo

More fabulous pages Elizabeth ;-) The images in the first picture remind me of the 'scraps' I used to collect as a young girl - they came back in vogue at one time and I wished I'd kept mine; along with the small cards I had of film stars of the day!
I've found when you translate online you get some strange translations, they can be quite amusing at times :-)

Thanks for dropping by my blog today and for your lovely comments. I haven't had much time for blog hopping recently so I'm behind on visiting blogs too. I love what I see here though! This looks amazing :-)

I really liked this book, it looks like the kind of book I would like to make. This has space for journalling etc I thought this was how all journals are but not so much when you make your own. some just seam to be for decoration (art journals) suppose it journalling art you do.

Always fabby to see you and always so much fun to have a read, The Mexico book may be old but this is really good too!

What does signiture meen? I love this book and all the long thread. I still find journalling very confusing but I do intend on making one (I have a plain book ready to be altered) and I really like the way your's fastens lovely touch (although mine had a wee padlock ;0)

Love Dawn xx
