It's all in the cup (Tea Tuesday)

Today I'm drinking China White Tea again. I love this stuff and it is nearly all gone. Life has been hurried and busy here lately, and, as this tenth month of 2010 ends, I had hoped to slow the pace. As I was rushing around on Saturday, I somehow knocked my back out of kilter. Not only do I have sharp pains in the left muscles of my back, I also have apparently pinched a nerve because my left leg goes to sleep if I sit too long, or stand too long. I deeply apologize if I haven't made it around to visit many of the blogs I want to keep up with, but sitting for any length of time just exacerbates the problem and the numbness.

But you didn't come to read about my back pain, but to celebrate drinking tea today. As always, I'm joining Kimmie for Tea Tuesday, along with the girls whose blogs are listed on Kimmie's sidebar. If you want to join us, Kimmie will welcome you, just like she did me those many months ago.

Apparently I was spasming when I took these photos, or maybe I was in such a hurry to get out of the awkward position I was in when I took these this morning that I failed to get even one decent shot of the tea in this lovely oriental cup.

I did take time to notice that the copper pieces hanging on my kitchen wall reflected nicely in my tea and my copper serving platter reflected nicely in my table. How is it they were the only things in focus?

Today's blog is our newest Tea Tuesday participant. Gayle at Bliss & Gesso is no stranger. I am not sure if I first met her through Tea Tuesday or Margaret's Project Dress-up (see my sidebar for dress up link), but it doesn't matter. All that matters is she is one fantastic artist, great designer, and a joy to share a cup of tea with, even if she does live in Australia, about as far away as possible. Gayle makes drop dead gorgeous scrapbook pages and vintage, shabby chic pieces. You would think that vintage and shabby would be nothing more than beige, sepia, and muted colors, but that's simply not true. Gayle's art is full of color and inspiration. Please welcome Gayle as our newest Tea Tuesday participant and be sure to check out Bliss & Gesso, too.

How you managed to take a few pics of your tea (BTW the reflections are amazing) and showcase another wonderful blog us a testament to your fortitude. You can't keep a good woman down for long. LOL! Greetings Elizabeth and Bleubeard,

Dad tells me he loves this kind of tea too but for some time, almost years he has been stuck on green tea with roasted rice.

Give our best to Bleubeard,
