Silent Sunday's blog

Today's blog is a visual treat for anyone interested in art quilts. Katie Pasquini Masopust, who lives in Santa Fe, NM (in the US), makes gorgeous contemporary art quilts and what she calls "stitched paintings." When visiting the gallery page of her site, it was hard for me to envision these were fabric. The pieces looked much like abstract paintings. However, when you click on "Quilts and Stitched Paintings for sale," you can enlarge the thumbnails to see the elaborate stitching that is evident in the pieces. Some pieces are still too small for me to appreciate them completely, but there are many I could view close up. And of course, you should check out the prices of the quilts. Talk about impressive! I hope you enjoy Katie Pasquini Masopust's art quilts today. Have a wonderful Sunday, too.

WOW - those art quilts are amazing...(hence the prices!) I will just be gazing from afar!!

I added the warning as several people 'moaned' at me on WOYWW for being chrismassy - didn't want to offend twice in one week!!
