T Tuesday means taking it outside

Today I'm spending the day with my friend Joseph and the other members of his band. I started the prep work for today at the crack of dawn, when I lit the chiminea and started the sun tea. Nothing fancy today. The guys are just happy to have a place to land during part of their summer tour.

I decided to make veggie pockets and cook them in the chiminea. I could only get two in at a time, so I will be working on these for some time, I'm afraid.

The tea is China White. It is supposed to be naturally slightly sweet and mild. I am really excited to taste it. I'm off to make more veggie pockets to put in the chiminea. Have a great Tea Tuesday and be sure to visit Kimmie for the other Tea Tuesday participants. They are located on her sidebar. I'll be around to visit later today or tonight.

Today's blog is authored by a relatively new member of the Tea Tuesday gals. Ink Spillers Attic may not sound familiar to you, but the blog author probably will. It is the talented Yvonne Quarles, who I recently featured in an e-How article on discharge dyeing using bleach. At that time, I didn't realize it was the same Yvonne who had recently joined Kimmie and us gals for tea. Yvonne has a lovely blog, with many beautiful photos of nature and quilts. What's not to like about that, right?

Ice tea sounds yummy!
Your chimenea still looks in great shape! Ours is looking a bit weathered. Makes me worried about the darn thing...like it's going to fall apart when we move it into the shed in the fall.
Have fun with the boys today!!

Thanks Elizabeth for the lovely comments. I am enjoying Tea on Tuesdays already, and today have posted about Yogi tea and a photo of my very old tea set I had as a child.
Your veggie pockets and sun tea sound so good. It's been so hot here that I have been making sun tea during the day also. That's one way to Savor the Day!
