Tea and paraphernalia

It takes a certain amount of paraphernalia to enjoy tea with my T Tuesday friends.

A good tea infuser is a must. A functional one, is even better.

Then there are the tea bag (or infuser) holders. Pretty ones are a bonus.

Ones with a cat on them are even more fun.

A quality tea is essential, and a container to hold it is a must.

Pour the tea from a mid-century tea pot that matches a snack set, and you have a great Tea Tuesday to share with friends. See Kimmie's side bar for these other Tea Tuesday friends, and while you're there, check out Kimmie's watercolor series on endangered species.

While searching for a tea blog, I found Lainie whose site is called Lainie Sips: A Tea Blog. She writes reviews of teas and tea paraphernalia, and forwards news relevant to the tea world. The photos quality and reviews are honest, exactly what you would expect from a tea blog that has no direct connection with a specific company. Stop by. You might even learn a bit about various teas. I sure did.

And how did I miss the summer solstice? I even had an altered art project designed in my head for it. I hope each of you enjoyed it in your own way. Those of you who live in the northern hemisphere, I'm sure you enjoyed the longest day this year, so I hope you got out and enjoyed the light. Those of you in the southern hemisphere had the shortest day of the year, so I hope you enjoyed as much daylight as possible.

Ohh I did make the most of the light - managed to craft without a light on until after nine...and then I had a cup of english breakfast tea with cold milk and headed up to be after catching up with the Football and the tennis. Post-work - marvellous day!

I have one of those wet tea bag holders too :)
mine has a mini Monet on it :)
If you lived here you wouldn't have missed the solstice at all - with the clouds we've been having - but the sun is making an appearance today - so it will be fun to watch the 11 p.m. twilight if it (the sun) sticks around that long :)
Happy T today!!!
