Merry Christmas

Each year I make tip-ins for my altered book friends. This year was no different, except I have not sent most of them to their intended recipient. I have tried like crazy to get my lost address book computer file back, but to no avail. So I am sharing my 2009 tip-ins today in hopes that someone who would have gotten one, sees them. Merry Christmas to all.

The fronts were all decorated a bit differently. but each had the same feel. The background was made using color mist, the trees were designed, then copied on high gloss photo paper. The trunks were all German text that I painted brown. Each of the circles was different, as were the stars. I used a date stamp to outline the trees.

The backs are all the same. I first sewed "garland" on green cardstock, then decorated the trees using dimensional paint and a star shaped brad.

Again, Merry Christmas to you and yours.
