Michelangelo, look what you started

Another spread in my Hands AB. I began by laying down dyed paper towels, then some leftover card stock. On top of that, I added a large paint chip on the left side and more dyed paper towel on the right. When the glue was dry, I removed as much of the paper towel as I could, exposing the layers of color underneath. I cut the two images from two magazines then computer generated the text.

I used UHU glue stick to adhere the paper towels and magazine images, UHU Twist & Glue to adhere the card stock and paint chip, and UHU glue roller to adhere the sentiment. I think this is the first time I've used all three UHU glues on the same spread.

Beautiful work! And I love your gray cat!
I wandered over to your blog. Found you on the 2009 One World One Heart Giveaway site. After watching the movie Julie and Julia recently, I've decided to try and go through the ENTIRE OWOH list, from beginning to end, in 90 days and connect/reconnect with all the artists and blogs that truly inspire me! Your blog is amazing and really resonated with me!

A bit about me. I'm a mystery writer, jewelry artist, and college professor. Yes, and a Gemini, if you couldn't tell! Here is my blog, where I blend my mystery writing and jewelry craft:

My first mystery Keeping House: A Madame President mystery just came out on Amazon.
Take care and as Julia Child might say, "Bon Blogging!"
